During his period of 26 years as Registrar of Births, Deaths, and Marria-. ges at Auckland and Christchurch Mr Frank Evans, Registrar at Auckland, who is to-retire dn ,; superannuation on March 31, has officiated' at 10.000 weddings. “By tying the knot for 20,000 persons I hope I have done something towards adding to the sum of human happiness,” ho said this morning. 111 addition to being Registrar of Births, Deaths, and.
