THE WEATHER
WELLINGTON, September 20. General inference: A series of westerly depressions continue to cross, the Dominion, a rather deep one oemg now located, over the South Island. The forecast is" for moderate to strong, northerly to northwesterly winds, later backing to westerly, and in places south westerly. Weather unsettled with intermittent rain, heavy, in places. Temperatures rather cooler and seas moderate to rathor rough.
