OBITUARY
The sudden death took place at Wellington yesterday oi Mr Karl (Mick) Stewart, the well known boxing referee who was officiating at the West- Coast championships ten days ago. He was oO years of age and uniifarnerl. The death occurred yesterday at Cohden of Mr George Scandrett, after a brief illness. Deceased was horn at Auckland, 6b years ago. He resigned from the police force with the rank of senior sergeant, some 11 years ago, and was running the Dominion Fish Supply and cafe at Greymouth. .He leaves a wife, six sons (Hector, of Westport, Donald, Malcolm, and Allan of Greymouth, George of Invercargill, and Burns of Cohden), also one daughter (Mis s Helena Scandrett, Greymouth). lie leaves in addition one brother, auci two sisters.
