WELLINGTON, September 14. General inference: An anticyclone extends from the central portion ot eastern Australia across the north Tasman Sea, but a series of westerly depressions is moving from southern .Australia across the south Tasman. The weather prevailing is therefore of a (pronounced "' ( > s teiTv type. The forecast is for moderate to strong westerly' winds of vale force in places, later backing to southwesterly. Weather changeable and stonily, with intermittent rain, hear'’ in places. Temperatures mild, but colder to-morrow. Seas rough.
