INCREASED FARES
ON ALL HOME LINERS. (Per Press Association—Copyright). WELLINGTON, September 13. Information has been received by the bead offices of the overseas shipping companies in Wellington, from the Australian and New Zealand Passenger Conference, that an increase in fares, announced in a London cable message printed to-day, are operative by all of the ships leaving the United Kingdom outward-bound, and leaving Australia and New Zealand home-ward-bound, on and after October 1. Those passengers who have made reservations prior to September 11 will be allowed until October 11 to complete their bookings by the payment of the deposit at the old rates. All new hookings after September 10 for sailings on or after October 1, will lie at the new rates, which have been increased by an average of ten per cent. The same arrangements will apply to passages by the ships trading between Australis and/or New Zealand and tun Pacific Coast of North Amov^a. nammum&Batemaimmmmus&rz:*
