IN PALESTINE
U.S.A. REQUEST TO BRITAIN.

WASHINGTON, August 13
The United States has requested and received ail assurance from Britain that the proposed changes in Palestine would not adversely affect American interests there. The Foreign Office stressed that it welcomed the intosest taken by the United States in solving the Palestine problem and would keep her fullv informed.
