A GREAT FRAUD
ON FRENCH COURT
HUGE ESTATE SWINDLE. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright).' (Received this day at 2 p.m.) PARIS, August 12. Newspapers describe a fraud whereby the court was induced to distribute to swindlers the £300,000 estate of the Russian, Admiral Alezieff. A man now living in Venezuela, whose haul was £252,000 collaborated with a Russian notary in preparing to lift it, the heirs including a woman friend, , and the Admiral’s chauffeur, who each received £9OOO. The. notary was similarly rewarded.
