CALL TO COLOURS. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copy right). LONDON, August 11. The Daily Telegraph’s Moscow correspondent says: The Soviet defence Commissar, Marshal Veroshiloff, issued a decree yesterday calling to the .colours of the' whole 1916 class of conscripts. The decree also calls up half of the 1915 class of conscripts. A Moscow Trade Union organ, “Labour,” affirms: “This call to arms is a feast for the entire land! It is a joyous event for every Soviet citizen I” , The paper adds: “War clouds are becoming denser. Fascism is already preparing for war against the Soviet.”
