Particulars of the areas upon which it is proposed to begin operations under the Government’s scheme for developing reverted Crown securities were given in an interview by the Minister of Lands, Hon. F. Lang Stone. The blocks are as follows:

Eleven thousand acres of Crown land known as Pouarua block, lying to the south of > Waitakarura and ivest of settled laiidk; on 'the ..western' bauk of the Piako river.

Edgecumbe block of three thousand acres, Tarawera No. 2 of 800 acres, and Tarawera No. 3 of 400 acres,- situated just off the Rangitaiki Plains. At Orini blocks of 400 acres are in the same locality. Raetihi, a block of fifteen hundred acres. Areas from 200 to 2,500 acres aggregating 94 hundred a'cre s in the King Country within a radius of say thirty miles from Te Kuiti.
