Australia’s overseas trade for. the year just ended, resulted in a favourable balance of £35,850,000, AUSTRALIA’S WOOL CHEQUE. (Received this day at 12 noon). r>. SYDNEY, July 8. The national council of wool selling brokers of Australia, show Australia’s wool cheque for the season ended J urie 30, was sixty-six million pounds. This is the largest return for nine years and is more than than double that of tho depression year 1933/34. The wool sold by the Commonwealth totalled 2,899,244 bales.
