CHRISTCHURCH, June 11. Charles] Drumifiond Bailey, farmer,, of Loburn, was fined £lO on each of two charges by Justice Northcroft to-dav/ when he appeared on charges of negligent driving, causing injury, and failing to- render assistance after an accident. ■ . ' ;■ ■< - . • -r; Bailey’s license was cancelled and he was disqualified for three years. Three months’ hard labour was the sentence imposed on Albert Ernest Charles Lance,- aged 37, on a charge of unlawful carnal knowledge.
