Signor Mussolini is cited as defendant in an action by Empdror Selassie seeking the recovery of £300,000 for shares in the French Railway, from Djibouti to Addis Ababa. Selassie received shares in the line in- recognition for permission for it to pass through Abyssinian territory. When Selassie fled from Abyssinia, lie decided to sell the stock, but Italy objected, on the ground it was owned by the Abyssinian Government, to which Selassie no longer was attached. Selassie, however, contends he still holds the title stock as head of a Government recognised by France, which has not recognised the conquest.
