TWO MINISTERS ATTEND. (Per Press Association.— Copyright) AUCKLAND, May 18. The Auckland Provincial Conference of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, was opened to-day by the Hon. Lee Martin, who was accompanied by the Hon. R. Semple. The president, Mr H. 0. Mellsop, said it was with the greatest pleasure lie welcomed Ministers of the Crown|, for it was giving them and the cOrji ference a greater opportunity to understand each other’s viewpoints, and leading to more co-operation or tending at least to less irritation, when it was deemed by the Union that criticism of measures and legislation, was necessary.
