STRIKE AFFAIRS
FAVOUR FIGHTING ON. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). LONDON. May I t. The London busmen by 17,459 votes to 1776 decided in favour of a continuance of the strike. A central bus qominitteeman addressing strikers at Papworth declared : “You must work to prevent all trams, trolley buses and long distance buses working.” Nevertheless, it is understood that there is at present no possibility of the tramway men or trolley busmen being called out officially, as the decision rests with the executive, which lias already rejected a proposal for an extension of the strike.
