BRITAIN’S ADVICE TO JAPAN

TOKIO, November 1

In the midst of trade negotiations between India and Japan, the British Government has advised the Japanese Government of its intention to terminate the 1 ndo-Japan trade agieenient on March 31 next. Britain’s advice to Japan contains im assurance that it is Britain’s wish that the trade negotiations in progress shall continue. Hope is expressed that an agreement will lie reached, thus making possible the withdrawal of notice of termination.
