, RIMU AND WOODSTOCK. The November meeting of the Rimu and Woodstock Women’s Institute was held at Mrs J. Kelly’s residence. Mrs Olson, presiding over a large at- . tendance of • members, welcomed ,Mrs Sutherland, of Greymouth, also Misses 0. McCormick, and K. Smith. The latter two very ablyj. Judged the coat 'hangers, and awarded first prize to Mrs , T. Boyd, and second to Mrs T, Wells.
The former gave an interesting account'of the Federation meeting in Reefton, at which she was a delegate
The roll s call was well responded, fo, being “My favourite hobby on a wet day.” It was decided tojhold the sale of work in the Woodstock Hall oil November 18.
A word building competition was won by Mrs F. Willoughby, and a name competition by Mrs D. Wells, A dainty supper was served by Mesdames W. O’Connor arid J. Kelly.
