FINE GESTURE
YOUNG GREEKS IN AUSTRALIA PERTH, June 10. A number of the younger members of the Greek community in Perth recently met and discussed whether they would enlist as members of the Citizen Forces of the Commonwealth. The Federal authorities, when informed, replied that the gesture was a fine one, and worthy of emulation. The District Commandant '[Brigadier AloFarlane )has recommended the formation of a platoon of such recruits, so that they can be associated and have their N.C.O.’s.
