AUSTRALIAN NEWS
AN APPOINTMENT. (Australian Press Association.) (Received this day at 11.0 a.m.) SYDNEY, June 10. Mr Cecil Gostellow, Government Actuary, Registrar of Friendly Societies, and Superintendent of the National Provident Fund of New Zealand, has been appointed Government Actuary in New South Wales. The acting-Premier (Mr Bruxner) making the announcement to-night, said although there were not many applicants, Mr Gostellow was the only candidate with the necessary qualifications.
