SEVEN FATALITIES FEARED. (British Official Wireless .J RUGBY, May 26. It is feared that seven men have been drowned in a colliery disaster in South Wales while 20 men of the lay shift were at work to-day in the Loveston pit in Pembrokeshire, which inly recently had been re-opened aftei several years.
One could have escaped, but returned into the torrent in an attempt to save his younger brother.
Water broke through the roof workings, which are 600 feet deep. Thirteen of the men -succeeded in fighting a way to safety. Rescue work is being feverishly pursued, but owing to the rising water, the difficulties are great. One body has been recovered,, but nothing lias been heard or seen of the six other men who were trapped;
