NAPIER, May 11. • A. lioax perpetrated by a young woman >v|ip “bprrp>yed“ a baby jui re : spect of which she obtained affiliation and maintenance orders, was revealed at the. l’ulice Court, when Sylvia May Fly-jfn, a domestic, aged 22, pleaded guilty to two charges of making ialse statements on oath. It was shown by the police that the girl, after obtaining a miscarriage, had a young map, Randall Gannaway, adjudged lie father of her''unborn child. Later an ’ adopted child from a "Koine, was produced in support of a claim for maintenance, to which Gannaway consented.- The child was later returned to the home. .> Accused was committed for sentence.
