DESPERATE FIG HT ARTIFICIAL RESPIRATION, (Australian Press Association.) (Received this day at 11.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE. August 3. Ruby Currie, ag&d 6. is struggling desperately for her life in a children’s hospital. She has been living in an artificial respirator, and breathing only by artificial means since Monday. The child is suffering from diphtheria and paralysis of the diaphragm. Hospital authorities say there is hope of her recovery. -
