THEFT CHARGE ACQUITTAL. (Australian Press Association.) SYDNEY, August 2. The trial of Joseph Ryan on a charge of stealing £IO,OOO in bank notes from the Canberra mail train on May 1, 1031, ended to-day. More than £7OOO was recovered by the police some time later.
