KING SOLOMON The return at King, Solomon min* last week amounted to 520 z ldwt. MAORI GULLY •, «• .r , • Maori Gully dredge return was 620 z 7dwt for 119 hours*. ‘ •. The dredge is now half way through, the first narrow . part of the, claim. After passing through - this narrow part, which will be some time next week, the flat widens out considerably and continues this width until the gorge proper is reached, possibly in six to nine months time.
. CHARLESTON. •The Charleston return for the fortnight ended on Saturday was 15oz 19 dwts. for 20 shifts. BUNDI DREDGING COY The Manager of the Bundi Tin Dredging Co. N Z-, advised Head Office, Sydney,, an July 12 as follows : “Opening o«t not completed. .Washed up 54ozs smelted gold. This represents not more than ten thousand yards of average face. We consider prospecting values', fully recovered. Only fifty per cent face bottomed. Will take till, end of August to open face, and get full yardage. Gold saving appliances satisfactory. Plant working well. Poole.” The Sydney Board of Directors hare appointed Mr Cl. E. Poole, Local Director. and Mr R. S. Poole has now taken over the management.
