JWy 12.* Crashing in a field of wheat at Ohoka, while its pilot was practising ' forced landing, the Canterbury Aelo Club’s mot-h aeroplane ZK—AAW was badly damaged this evening, The two occupants were injured and are now in tne Christchurch,. Public Hospital, but neither is seriously, ill. They are J. J. Busch, commercial pilot to the Canterbury Aero Club; injuries to his face and back; and A. C: Baines, of 139, Sf. Asaph Street, injuries to his head. , With its nose- pressed into the ground the engine, an 'exposed and twisted mass, and the two right' wings crumpled and torn, the aeroplane was sadly dilapidated. Nothing ■ could bo one with it this evening, but engineer’s from the Aero Club will begin to dismantle it to-morrow morning. It is not beyond repair. .
