CIVIL SERVICE APPOINTMENT
(Per Press Association. Copyright). WELLINGTON, July 12. Mr P. M. Pearce has has been appointed Commissioner of Stamp Duties and Secretary for the Lands and Deeds in succession to Mr J. Murray, who is retiring on superannuation at the end of tiie month.
