N.S.W. CHAMPIONSHIP (Australian Press .Association.) SYDNEY, July 11. Th semi-duals in the New South Wales amateur golf championship were played to-day on a wet course. Results were:—-S. A. Keane defeated J. Ferrier 1 up. H. W. Hattersly defeated M. Herford 9 and 8.
The match between Keane and Perrier was a .magnificent pne, neither player securing more than a hole advantage in the-afternoon round- Keane . eventually won by styming his opponent. However, his form was more consistent than FerrierV and his victory , was well deserved.
