MAHENO’S SALVAGE
A DIFFICULT UNDERTAKING (Australian Press Association.) SYDNEY, July 11. Bank Brothers, who are the Sydney representatives of the Japanese owners of the Maheno and Donah, have received advice that the Oonah has been unable to com memo salvage operations because of a heavy swell, but as. the weather is moderating, the task should not he delayed long. The marine authorities here express the opinion 'that the salvage of'"the Malieno will become increasingly difficult with the sand piling up against the stranded vessel, due to the recent rough. conditions along the Queensland coast.
