FAMOUS RIVERS OVERFLOW MANY THOUSANDS drowned. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received this day at 2.10 p.m.) LONDN, July 10. The “Times” Hankow correspondent says millions .are threatened by Hoods in Yangtsekiang and Hwaugho rivers. The Yangtse hurst its banks, flooding the entire city of Hanyang, while neighbouring;-villages were wiped out. Two thirds of the inhabitants perished and - fifty thousand are homeless-. Streets of other large cities are submerged. Tire dykes protecting Nankow are holding and troops were called out to strengthen them.
