Expansion in United States, Australian trade is forecast as the result oT the discussion between Mr Lyons and Air .Rosevelt and Senator Hull. . .Mr Lyons said it was discovered that they had a community interest in the development of trade, and were agreed on the - general principles ol' expanding commerce between the two. Though he presented no definite proposals concerning reciprocal trade agreement, Mr Lyons tolds the newspapermen that progress was made toward closer and better relationships, and there might be concrete developments .soon. Mr Lyons did not be lieve the Ottawa agreements were a harrier to an Australian-United States pact.
