CHANGES ANNOUNCED. (Per Press Association, Copyright). WELLINGTON, July 8. Mr IL C. Ash win has been appointed first-assistant Secretary to the Treasury, in succession to Mr G. C. Rodda. who was recently appointed Secretary. Mr G. G. Rose has been appointed second assistant Secretary, and retains the position of solicitor to the Treasury. He also becomes superintendent of the State Advances Office in order to take charge of the work which is not transferred to the Mortgage Corporation. Mr G E. Miller present superintendent of the State Advances is not relinquishing his position for two or three weeks, however.
