LAW AMENDMENT PROPOSAL IN AUSTRALIA. (Australian Press Association.) (Received this day at 11.3 a m.) SYDNEY, Juno 26, The Minister of Justice (Mr Martin) proposes to make recommendations to Cabinet for an amendment, to the law in relation to colonial inquiries.. Air Martin said conditions to-day are so entirely different from conditions prevailing when the law was made, that it is essential the law should be overhauled to conform to the conditions of to-day.
