CABINET ENFORCES MEASURES. (United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) PARIS. June 25. The French Cabinet are actively engaged in a search for economics. Cuts have already been decided on as follows: Railways, sixteen millions sterling; Health and Insurance Department, £5,300,0011; and pensions, seven million sterling.
President Lebrun has issued a decree reducing the interest on the two year national defence savings certificates from 4 2 per cent, to 4 per cent.
