General inference:—Pressure is low to the east of New Zealand low pressure centres being located east of East Cape and in the far south respectively; barometers are relatively high over the north Tasman Sea.
The forecast is for light to moderate southerly winds turning more westerly and decreasing, weather fine at first hut clouding oyer later and some scattered showers probable; seas moderate.
