Forwards: Devenport (Mawhera), Heaton (Pacific), Fleming (Talma), Weir (Cobden), G. Stapleton (Taliua). The West Coast B team to play Wesley (Westport), as a curtain-raiser, will be: —

TIAIARU, June 6
The Indian hockey team gave a brilliant display to-day, defeating South Canterbury by twelve goals to nil. At half-time the visitors led by three to nil.
The Indians displayed wonderful team work their positional work being outstanding. The home sidy> battled gamely. but were unable to cope with the brilliance of the visiting forward lino, of which Dh.van Chand was tlm pivot. TTo scored six goals, Fernandes two, Shabnbuddin two, and Rup Singh two. The visitors were swarmed with autograph hunters during their stay, and they have decided in future to charge sixpence, all autograph books to be VJt with the manager. The mnn» T so collected will go to the Indian Earthquake relief tend.
