Canada’s first silver dollar will be minted and circulated as a commemorative token of the twenty-fifth .anniversary of King George’s accession to the throne next Alay. It will be called the “George dollar,” and bear a likeness to his Alajesty. Its populaiity will determine the amount of currency issued in this form, but it is understood the first minting will be of one hundred thousand.
