GERMAN VESSEL PURCHASED

Messrs Burns Philip and Co., have purchased the Neptun Aterkur. The sale is said to be the outcome of fi.e desire of a German shipping firm to facilitate co-operation in international shipping, as well as to reach a friendly understanding in regard to the requirements of British and Australian lines.
TENNIS TOURNEY ABANDONED
