Severe injuries were sustained by a married man named Thomas Kidd, aged 50. of Wyndham, when he came in contact with a power line carrying 6000 volts this afternoon 110 was thrown to the ground and into a creek, the shock knocking him unconscious. He sustained a spinal injury as well as a broken ankle bone, also bruises and chest injuries.
