DUBLIN, December 8

While on his way home to Killiney from Dublin, Mr. P. T. McEnery, counsel for the prosecution |ui several cases against members of the Republican Army before the military tribunal, was held up on a dark road hv two mien with revolvers. '1 wo others appeared and bundled him into a taxi, which travelled at a past speed to Dublin.

Tbe kidnappers bundled Mr. McEnerv out, tied bis bands and feet to tbe railings of the barracks, tarred his head, and decamped. Bystanders realised Mr. McEnery, who declared that his assailants were as courteous as possible in tbe circumstances. Tbe attack has created a sensation in Dublin.
