WOODSTOCK DEFEAT KANIERI / ' ' Wodstock beat Kanieri by 24 runs. Woodstock scored 113 (Howat 59, 'L. Wells 13, E. Stoop 23, A. Dale 15), Morris taking 5 for 28. Kanieri replied with (Morgan 19, Banks 12, W. Fleming 10). For Woodstock Wells took 4 for°l9, and Griffiths 4 for 29. In their second innings Woodstock compiled 67, Kanieri replying 'with 79 (H. Wells 20, W. Wolhouse 25). For Woodstock Griffiths took 5 for 28, and Wells 5 for 38. HOKITIKA A DEFEAT THE B’S . H’jkitikaj lA defeaited Hokitika, B by nine wickets. The B’s scored 53 (Jolley 12, W. Hughes 10),, Baird taking 4 for 6, and 59 (L. Hughes 15 not out, Jolley 11). The A’s compiled 103 (G. Stapleton 22, Thomas 17, Baird 16, Collett 10). The A’s comtaking 4 for 19. The A’s secured the necessary 10 runs for the loss of one wicket.'

JUNIOR GRADE Hokitika (126) defeated Rimu *'l24) on the first innings. The chief scorers for Hokitika were Douglas 34, Breeze 30, Mulrennan 24, Ballinger 12, and for Rimu In-wood 49, Bannister Boyd 16, and B. Knowles 10. Hokitika scored 98 in their second innings. The best bowler for Hokitika was Gilman with 8 for 16, and for Rimu Stoop 5 ter 41.
