The Lakes Open Golf Championship was won by the American, Craig Wood, Wiho in the last round yesterday, established a course record of sixty seven, being five under par. Other noteworthy rounds were those of the Americans, Shute and Laffoon, who did sixty-eight. The Sydney men, Bulger, who was bo-leader with H. Cooper (U.S.A.), oh Friday, disappointed yesterday. Ferrier gained the honour of being the leading amateur. The leaders’ scores were : Craig Wood (U.S.A.) 72, 67—total ■ 283; Runyan (U.S.A.) 69, 74—287; Laffoon (U.S.A.) 72, 68—288; Shute (U.S.A.) 68,73 290; Cooper (U.S.A.) 74, 76—293; Diegel (U.S.A.) 75, 69—295; Kirkwood (U.
