TJie ‘‘Spn Herald” says: Within a few hours of the improvement in the Saar situation, European tension was renewed by the Hungarian-Yugo-slavia dispute culminating in Mr Anthony Eden rising in his seat at the League Council table at Geneva,?;, and leaking a cryptic statement: “I don’t conceal frorii the coimcil that certain reports I’ve received give cause for anxiety.” Another disquieting development is France and Italy being in opposing t camps, Italy backing Hungary, and France supporting Yugo-Slavia. Ajfeajiwjhile Germany’s attitude is awaited. All delegations support M. Laval’s plea for an international convention to suppress terrorism.
