Big fields contested all events when the summer meeting of the New Briglitton Trotting Club was held on the clubs course to-day. The first two races were run in divisions. BRED COLT’S RECORD • MELBOURNE, December 9. •The New Zealand-bred colt, Bur.sby Gaze, broke the course record, formerly held by Nightly, in winning the .Kooinbahla Trial at Moonee Varcy, while the New Zealand-bred Chenars won the first division of the Argvle Highweight Handicap. After being left standing at the start, and after her rider had been blinded by a clod of earth when she 'commenced, to move forward, Melisnnde nut up ,a remarkable performance bv running third in the Ivoombalda Trial.—Results were : Argvle Highweight Handicap—Chonars 1, Airldoof 2.
