MONDAY NIGHT’S CONCERT
The programme of Madame Christie Rawlings for the pianoforte recital at St.'..Mary’s C'luh •oom, will be selected specially to suit the tastes of a mixed sjudience. Nevertheless it will be composed entirely of the works of the masters, and that- assures a first clas s l'anigo 'of ‘.selections.
Madame Rawlings is a finished pianoforte executant. Her technique is surprising and could only have l>een { developed under first class tutorship. The lady has studied in the European studios where pianoforte instruction is at its best, and an apt pupil Ims aquired -a finished form cf presentation. Madame Rawlings’ interpretation of her numbers is said to be most intelligent, 'and the articulation is unusually lucid. All devotees to the pianoforte should not miss such a finished- performance as will he given. Miss Ada Lynn will be the vocal soloist for the evening, an assurance that there will be added pleasure to the already pleasing programme. There is a modest admission charge, and all votaries of the piano, as well as patrons of go"cl class music should attend in force.
