TASMAN AIRMEN

The Tasman airmen, Whitehead ■and Nicholls, will be prosecuted in the Magistrate’s Court to-morrow on three charges breaches of the Air Navigation Act. (1) Flying an unregistered, aircraft from N.S.W. to New Zealand; (2) flying an aircraft, which was not properly certified; and (3) flying an aircraft not carrying proper documents. The airmen arrived to-day from Wellington, where they were informed they would he prosecuted. On arrival they went to the police station and it was arranged that the charges be heard to-morrow. They intend to do about a week’s work on the plane and later to fly to Rotorua for Christmas.
