PARKER DEFEATS LISTER (Per Pre a 8 Association, Copyright) DUNEDIN, May 6. Eddie Parker (12.0) of Timaru beat Harry Lister (11. S) of West Coast by a narrom margin of points in a "15-round contest last night. There was a large attendance, and a fast, scientific exhibition of boxing was provided, Parker’s superior ringcraft gaining him the decision. Lister made the fight most of the way, and there was a good deal of clinching in which the West Coaster landed some telling blows. Parker was mote at home in distance fighting.
