BOWLING
The final game for jhe singles championship .ay as played on the, local green Inst evening, .before a good gallery, between 'Messrs Stevenson and Breeze. The green ran well though a fairly strong wind affected die play to some extent. The gjame was an even ■one and at,the 11th head the score was 11 .all. From then on Steverson scored steadily until 'the game finished on the 20th head with the score 2i ;o 13 in Stevenson’s favour. The ‘winner was congratulated an his success. ,- Mr D. Stevenson has now won the singles championship of the local Club oil twelve occasions, in 1911-12, 12-13, ] 1-15, 15-16, 18-19, 21- 22, 26-30, 31-32, 33-31, a very fine performance which is a tribute to h : s consistency «s a player.
