Playing the country team to-day 'Wellington • town team scored 194 in the - first innings. There was a miserable batting performance ,by the country players, who were all dismissed for 101. Some of them threw their wickets away in trying to lift accurate -balls over the fence or attempting impossible runs. The Town commenced their second innings with 20 minutes to play - and at stumps were one down for 38. With the exception of Dustin (69) and one or two others, the batting wag weak and disappointing.
