COMPANY. \ The mine manager’s report ■ for the week ending August 25, states that development work is / still in handThe main face drive was advanced 20ft, and still continues to carry encouraging prospects of' / ’gold. ■. oh the bottom. ■ No 2 cross drive going’; west was started and advanced 20 feet, the last few feet of which is showing more gold on the bottom. No 2 ’cross drive oast was also started and advanced nine feet, showing fair prospects. No 1 cross drive east was advanced 22 feet, and continues to show encouraging prospects. Several midway cross drives are also in hand, and from these fair prospects of gold are seen. < AV@ washed n TV for the week a total of 6oz 18dwt gold. ' .
