Oil a "tidal wave ol" “wet” votes to-day, New York became the sixth State to approve to repeal of tlie Prohibition Amendment.
In virtually every city of the State the repealists scored decisive victories.

New York State ratified the repeal of film eighteenth amendment by twenty to one, while in New York city the' repeal majority was about fifty t ( > one, These large majorities are expected to give impetus to the repeal movement in other States, which will vote in the near future..
