SUBMARINE RAMMED
by TRAWLER IN THICK FOG

RUGBY, May 23
The British submarine L 23, was today rammed by a trawler named Lord Davidson in a thick fog seven miles off Kinnaird Head, Aberdeenshire. Fortunately the damage is only slight, the submarine reported, and although she is making water .slightly, She needed .no assistance. She was escorted to Ro,=ythe. She is a vessel of 760 tons, with a complement of about thirty men.
